Motion design for
Sobremesa.Institute:

Motion  Strategy  Social Media
I was reached out by Lydia Iracheta, good friend and founder of Sobremesa.Institute, the unconventional spanish school, to join the team of creatives that run this project. In my case, as the visual and motion designer for their communications and social media strategy.

Using the visual identity designed by @treintaiseisestudio , I introduced movement into the language for platforms like Instagram, and also extrapolated these visual guidelines to other materials needed in the communications of the school.

These assets vary from static posts, to motion reels and stories. These are used to comunicate all the various formats and contents Sobremesa.Institute has to offer, like Sobremesa.Conversations, their seasonal courses, periodic interviews to creatives based in Barcelona featured in Sobremesa.Conversations, as well as Sobremesa.Music playlists, curated to create the right mood.

In order to reach out to new learners, we use Reels as a way of communication towards newer audiences. These materials have to key elements, the visual DNA of the school, in order to give a taste of what they can experience, and motion as a way of creating dinamic content to keep the attention of the overstimulated viewer.
