Hackathon 2023:
I was reached out by Roey Tshema @synthusacademy to create the visual languague for the upcoming International Synth Design Hackathon, a tinkering festival hosted by Design Academy Eindhoven, where students from multiple academies and universities come together for a period of four days to design various artefacs and installations regarding visuals, sound, interaction and more, by tinkering with digital tools and hardware.
This form of the line and two dots, can be used statically as a logo, or extrapolated to different formats by changing the length of the line, depending on the necessities of the format in which it is displayed.
Since
this festival encourages using digital tools and new technologies as
their medium of creation, I found interesting using a procedural texture
using TouchDesigner.
By using this technique, I was able to generate a series of static textures changing in colour for the printed version, and an animated texture for the digital format.
